The Mushroom Compadres are farmers and artists on a journey to reclaim responsibility for our food and well being, by reclaiming our sovereignty and connection to the natural world.
Our personal and financial integrity comes from our Love for Life and the wisdom of our ancestors which survives to this day in all these foods and medicines that the Earth provides.
We are tired of the glitzy fake world of marketing and lack of real connection. Tired of the nihilistic sadness evident in the pollution and the disrespect of nature. We want the agency and authority of putting healthy food in our bodies and having a healthy mind and soul.
Our Process
We make our small batch artisanal mushroom products by hand, in house with only the mushrooms that we ourselves grow.
Our methods are simple and all natural. Rather than import and repack a commodity from a nameless source, we grow and transform our products ourselves.
By joining us you are supporting the funding of regenerative agriculture, forest restoration and rebuilding our human communities. The mushrooms are the motor of our project but we are engaged in something so much more powerful.
We are quietly, honestly working on displacing the outdated chemical monopolies, healing our bleak cities and revitalizing our fragmented ecosystems.
